[293] Back at uni

It seems to have gone quite quickly when I sat back and think about it, but summer is finally over and I’m back here in Preston. And, well, it’s last year all over again. Pissing about on t’internet too much out of boredom, embarking on spontaneous benders out of boredom, and doing a bit of work inbetween. It’s not a bad life really; quite boring because I haven’t met many people I like, but then I certainly think it’s better to have a few friends you spend time with because you actually like them than a whole load of friends you can say hi to in the pub then sit trying to come up with ways of pretending you really do like each other. At least, that’s what I tell myself…

Along with Ryan from last year I now also live with a very camp man. I worry this may push read more.

[129] 80s films

The 80s revival thing is very sucky, but I admit to having a soft spot for 80s American films. Basically anything with Matthew Broderick or Michael J. Fox in it. Also all of Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor’s films, most things with Steve Martin and/or John Candy and absolutely anything with Christina Applegate.

[128] Kids making up songs

Kids are mental, in a good way. My little sister Eiren walks around singing everything, talking to you in song. #Oh my god, Geddy, what is that? It looks like it’s big and green and might be a box of teabags, but I’m not sure so I’m just going to keep on singing la la la lalala, ooh look there’s a banana I think I’m going to eat it, goodbye for now you may see me again in future…
